Signs of An Emergency

Whenever your pet experiences a change in their behavior or their health, it’s important to make time to see your veterinarian. However, some symptoms are more urgent to address than others. If your pet experiences any of the situations below, bring them to us immediately, or our 24/7 referral emergency hospital.

  • Ingestion of a known toxin
  • Traumatic injury (i.e. hit by a car)
  • Encounter with a wild animal
  • Excessive vomiting/diarrhea
  • Blood in vomit, stool, or urine
  • Bleeding from the mouth, nose, eyes, or ears
  • Sudden collapse or unconsciousness
  • Seizures
  • Disorientation or confusion
