Whenever your pet experiences a change in their behavior or their health, it’s important to make time to see your veterinarian. However, some symptoms are more urgent to address than others. - Ingestion of a known toxin
- Traumatic injury (i.e. hit by a car)
- Encounter with a wild animal
- Excessive vomiting/diarrhea
- Blood in vomit, stool, or urine
- Bleeding from the mouth, nose, eyes, or ears
- Sudden collapse or unconsciousness
- Seizures
- Disorientation or confusion
- Pressing head against a wall or other surface
